Three years in the making, this spectacular film odyssey features the wildlife wonders of Ireland’s Atlantic islands. Highlights include an extraordinary mass gathering of Basking Sharks off the Aran Islands, Humpback Whales returning from the dead to fish and frolic off Kerry’s Blasket islands and Manx Shearwaters returning from sub-Antarctic waters to nest in the ancient monk's cells of Skellig Michael.

A stunning 140-year old traditional sailboat is host Eoin Warner’s base as he sails out into the Atlantic to track down Ireland’s most remote islands and their wild residents. One of the last islands on his journey - Whiddy, holds poignant memories for Eoin as his father was killed there in Ireland's greatest maritime disaster.
