From the makers of ‘The Game: The Story of Hurling’ – A major new film on Christy Ring is searching for unseen archive film, photographs and audio recordings of the great Cork hurler

Cork’s Christy Ring was arguably the greatest ever player of the game of hurling.

He was a hero to the people of Ireland and for a new documentary about his life we’re putting the call out to the people of Ireland for any photographs, footage or audio recordings you might have of this sporting icon.

Maybe it’s a framed photograph in the sitting room you don’t notice anymore, newspaper clippings in a scrapbook or a reel of film that was never developed. We’re interested in it all!
